Our Story.
Alex had already built a life in the US, teaching ballroom dance professionally. Jully was in Brazil — a hopeless romantic and book lover who'd been carrying a camera wherever she went for years. They found each other the modern way: a dating app, a few weeks of messages, and enough of a spark that Alex bought her a ticket.
She landed at JFK on Christmas Eve. Four months later, they were married. Ten years on, they're still side by side — now with cameras, a film kit, and a shared obsession with capturing the moments that actually matter.
For six years, Alex & Jully has documented weddings across New York, Connecticut, Mexico, Iceland, France, and Spain. Jully leads the photography; Alex shoots photo or film depending on the collection, bringing his instinct for composition and movement from over twenty years as a professional ballroom dancer. Together, they blend in and let the day happen naturally.
